A wind blows through it
It would have been wonderful to live in this simple, sturdy house when it was in its prime, way out here in the desert amid the swirling winds, the cacti, and the summer storms. The surrounding country would have been wild and free, and there would have been few people around.
Now, the road cuts through the property; you can see it in front of the house in the image above. It is a somewhat well-traveled road, and the only thing keeping this ranch from being completely vandalized is the roughness of parts of the road, and the signs everywhere that beseech visitors to please not vandalize the place any more!
